IMI New Delhi was established in 1981. It was India’s first corporate-sponsored business school and set up in collaboration with the then IMI Geneva (now IMD Lausanne).
Corporate sponsors include RPG Enterprises (lead sponsor), ITC, Nestle, Tata Chemicals, British Oxygen, SAIL, Williamson Magor etc.

The campus is in the Qutab Institutional Area, South Delhi.
It has multiple accreditations: AICTE-approval; also NBA, AMBA, AACSB, and SAQS.

Curriculum & Pedagogy
Structure of PGDM (Full-Time, 2-year)
The curriculum is divided into six trimesters. The first three trimesters (first year) are mainly core / compulsory courses across management functional areas: Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Operations, OB & HR, Information Management, Economics & Strategy etc. There’s also a set of core electives in Year 1: students choose at least two electives in functional domains they may want to specialise in. In the second year, students choose electives / specialisation streams in areas like Marketing, Finance, Operations, Strategy, Information Systems, Analytics etc.
MI Delhi has a fairly large faculty strength, covering all usual management domains: Marketing; Finance & Accounting; OB/HR; Operations & Quantitative Techniques; Information Management; Economics; Strategy & General Management.
Many faculty have PhDs, have published in international journals, have experience outside India or in visiting/faculty exchange etc.
Strong accreditation and corporate sponsorship. Good average & top-10% placement numbers.Well-rounded course structure with specialisations, electives, exposure to finance / BFS etc. FPM with stipend & support is good if you are research oriented.Location in Delhi gives industry exposure and networking.
